Founded over ten years ago by Mr. Ariel Lurie, Yad Ezra VeShulamit
was established to ease the suffering of impoverished Israeli
families..
The organization assists the truly needy from all spectrums
of the community and all regions of the country - the orphans,
widows, single parent families and large families that have
fallen upon hard times through::
• Distribution of 2500 weekly food baskets to needy families
throughout the country.
• Soup kitchens in five different locations
• Financial assistance for medical treatment.
• Professional referrals.
• Organizing inexpensive sales of food, basic necessities,
clothing etc.
• Distribution of clothes, coats, shoes, school supplies
and toys at a nominal fee.
